Whole milk, an integral part of a healthy diet

For decades, food guidelines of all kinds recommend that you choose low-fat dairy products, due to the high levels of saturated fats found in milk and dairy products, whose consumption is related to an increase in LDL cholesterol in the plasma. However, there are disagreements about it, (1,2) because the results of some meta-analyzes or have not reported any association between milk consumption and the risk of cardiovascular disease (3) or even have shown an inverse association between consumption of cheese, rich in saturated fats, and the plasma concentration of LDL.
